Ann Mullen’s 4th-grade classroom was transformed into a video arcade earlier this month, as students put the finishing touches on their PBL project – to build a functional arcade game out of cardboard. Using math and engineering principles and incorporating an electric circuit, students worked in groups to develop the most functional and creative game possible.
A big thank you to three Suffern High School gaming experts: Sean Downey, Jaden Aragon, and Michael Gordon who visited the classroom to learn about each game and talk with these younger students about the rigors of school, using technology, and always believing in your dreams.
When our older students take time to mentor the younger ones and share their passions, it helps to foster a connection to our District and a passion for success. #PassingDownThePride #MountiePride #SuffernCentral #PBLProjects
