Welcome to Suffern High School!  We have a long history–over 110 years–of advancing quality education for our students, but we also offer all the advantages technology can provide. We hope that all members of our community will take advantage of our website to ask questions and find information. Here you can discover some of the ways we fulfill the SCSD mission: Educating for Personal Excellence.

We encourage you to explore the various drop-down menus found under our main navigation. Our Guidance Department site contains information about scheduling, college admission, and financial aid.  The Nurses’ Office site provides downloadable forms and information about screening and doctor visits. The Teaching & Learning section takes you to a list of departments and programs, and a searchable staff directory so that you may locate teacher websites. The Alumni button gives graduates the opportunity to reconnect. If you are a student, the Library button is invaluable. From the Library site, you can login to the E-Library and conduct research by using our extensive collection of databases.

To learn more about our history and how we grew into the forward-leaning high school we are today, please visit our About Us page.

Due to icy road conditions, Suffern Central School District will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Thursday, February 21. There will be NO elementary school for students, except for PM Pre-K, which should report at 12:15 pm. Elementary school staff should report on the 2-hour delay schedule and parent-teacher conferences will take place as scheduled this afternoon.
