Acting Superintendent

I continue to be amazed by all the excellent activities happening in our District, both in the classroom and beyond. Last Saturday, the Reach Foundation hosted the fourth annual STEAM Expo, which was a huge success. The District’s relationship with Reach extends beyond the Expo, inspiring curriculum in the classrooms, engaging students in new ways of thinking, and providing grants to teachers to enhance learning opportunities. Thank you to all the teachers, administrators and students that volunteered their time this weekend and to the community for coming to support this endeavor.

This week also marks the beginning of the fourth quarter. Before we know it, summer will be upon us and our students will be moving up a grade or on to the next chapter of their lives. When we return from spring break, all of our buildings will be filled with exciting events including multicultural evenings, talent shows, honor society recognitions, and so much more! Be sure to stay up to date on District and building happenings by using our website and following our social media outlets.

Lastly, I want to remind you that should you have any questions about the District, I will continue to hold office hours, so please feel free to make an appointment. The next two dates are Friday, April 12 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. and Friday, May 3 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. and meetings will be scheduled in 15-minute increments.

Have a great rest of your week!
