Published Authors in Suffern!
For the fourth year in a row, the Rockland County Library Association celebrated creative writing students across Rockland County with their contest, Scrawl: Rockland Teens Write. Created for those in grades 6-12, this contest asks students to submit works of fiction for possible inclusion in a published work of short stories that are featured in every Rockland County library. More than 130 students in the County submitted entries and 47 were chosen and celebrated this past week.
Suffern Central is proud to have had 11 students from Mrs. Coletta’s Creative Expressions class chosen for this year’s publication. They celebrated during an intimate reception on Thursday, May 2 and can be seen here holding up copies of Scrawl 2019.
