Continuing the New York State Education Department‘s celebration of #NationalPrincipalsMonth, we recognize Angela Aguilar from Cherry Lane Elementary School.

“My ‘why’ is to serve our students, our teachers, and our families at Cherry Lane and to produce intelligent, empathetic, problem-solving, culturally sensitive citizens that are dedicated to making this world a better place. It’s to provide students with a safe, nurturing, academically rich learning environment so they can grow and learn and where learning can be explored, highly engaging, and fun. Cherry Lane is a place where mistakes are a part of the learning process. A place where we teach them to respect one another while inspiring and empowering our children to achieve success, and where our students are valued for their individual and diverse potential.”
