Mountie Minds Advisory Council
Mountie Minds is a citizen advisory council that fosters open dialogue between the Suffern Central community and District administration. The group is made up of parents and non-parents, staff, students, community leaders and business owners who meet with the Superintendent and other administrators to discuss District initiatives and priorities.
The council's mission is to engage in conversation, provide input, and partner with the Superintendent to help ensure a successful and innovative school system that maximizes each student's potential. Mountie Minds is organized by the Director of Communications & Community Relations.
Now entering its fifth year, Mountie Minds has helped guide District thinking on topics ranging from elementary restructuring to curriculum planning to facilities investment. Applications open each fall; for details on joining, complete the application linked below.
