For Ann Biondi’s class at RP Connor Elementary School, the REACH Foundation of Rockland‘s grant has enabled her to purchase STEM bins for use in the classroom. “I love that these bins encourage students to think inventively and use their imagination,” said Ann. “They allow students to build on their creative design skills and construct a variety of two and three-dimensional shapes, lines and angles using basic geometry.”

We also love how these bins help foster problem-solving skills and teamwork! Thank you to REACH for supporting these important lessons in our classrooms. We look forward to seeing these STEM bins at the April 6 STEAM Expo at Suffern High School.

If you are interested in seeing more of these programs and activities in your child’s (ren’s) classes, the REACH Foundation is looking for volunteers! Please email for more information.
