On Wednesday, May 1, Suffern High School hosted their annual STIR symposium, which featured 25 of the school’s brightest researchers showcasing their amazing work. The event began with a showcase of the students’ research projects, which touched on many different topics including autism, environmental concerns, neurological issues, the air quality in New York, the effects of cell phone radiation, and PTSD, among others.

STIR (Science & Technological Investigative Research) is a three-year course that begins in 10th grade and asks students to pick a project, work with mentors, and conduct significant experiments and research to determine results.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this evening and the program a success! #MountiePride #SuffernCentral
