Collaboration is a fundamental key to learning at Suffern Central.

Last week, Suffern High School’s College Drawing and Painting class visited with the Mounted Police Foundation of Rockland County Patrol Unit because they are collaborating with them to design an educational coloring book for them to distribute when educating local young children.

The class spent four hours at the barn learning how to take care of the horses, as well as observing and participating (as mock-protesters) in the training of the Saratoga Springs Mounted Unit and two new potential Rockland County Mounted horses.

The students gathered more information for the coloring book as well as shared their initial sketch work and storyboard for the project. We cannot wait to see the final product! #MountiePride #SuffernCentral
