A very special day for students new to our country and high school. During unit lunch on Friday, the Spanish Honor Society and the Ayuda Club (a peer-to-peer tutoring club for Spanish speaking students) sponsored a luncheon to welcome new Hispanic students to Suffern High School. Over delicious food from La Hacienda De Don Manuel, students spent time getting to know each other through conversations and stories about their lives.
Spanish Honor Society Secretary Kayla Collado and Public Relations Rep Matthew Boggan spoke to all the attendees in Spanish and English.
