Twenty-nine Suffern High School students (10th & 12th graders) and 46 Suffern Middle School students earned 2019 Rockland Community College Hispanic Heritage Awards, which honor Rockland students of Hispanic descent for outstanding academic accomplishments. The honors are awarded to students in grades 8, 10 and 12 in two categories: Academic Achievement (academic average above 90, but less than 95) and Academic Excellence (academic average of 95 or higher). High school award recipients were honored during a ceremony at RCC on October 16 and all recipients received certificates of recognition. Congratulations to all our Hispanic Heritage Award winners:
