Our Suffern High School ninth grade Girl Scout troop 40669 from Sloatsburg has been doing what they can during this pandemic to help those in need.

They started a “Buy Them Breakfast” campaign for essential workers in our community and have been fundraising by selling “Thank you” lawn signs. Money raised will go to buy breakfast for Suffern Central employees who are bringing food to students in the district as well as other local essential workers who are delivering groceries, working in food stores, and healthcare workers.

To date, they have earned just under $300 by selling the lawn signs. Their breakfast deliveries will begin next week!

Great work Lily Diamond, Penelope Diamond, Catherine McCaffrey, Casey McQuillan, Ilyssa Shapiro, Riya Saraiya, and Mikailah Solomon-Hollander!
