All this week the 6th graders at Suffern Middle School have been learning the lessons of resilience through the stories of the Holocaust, thanks to a traveling museum from The Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education. The students were presented with unique lessons and activities to teach perseverance, awareness, and understanding.

The week culminated today with guest speaker and Holocaust survivor Trudy Album who spoke with the students about her experience as a little girl and how life was for her during and after the Holocaust.

Thank you to all of the teachers, administrators, and partners that made this possible for our students.
