What a day! From the time school began this morning until the last buses dismissed, our students were reading and celebrating. Today was Valentine’s Day, the 100th day of school, the last day before our winter break and Rockland Read-In! Everyone was in pajamas from our youngest Pre-K students to the 8th graders, and everyone was engaged in reading.

Thanks to the many special guests that lent their time and voices to read to our students. BOE members Tom Donnelly, Angus MacKenzie and Paul Shapiro, Acting Superintendent Lisa Weber, Assistant Superintendent of PPS Dr. Lisa Castaldo, Director of Instruction Sue Pariot, Athletic Director Andy Guccione, Suffern Police Chief Clarke Osborn, Village of Suffern Mayor Ed Markunas, our building Principals, Instructional Facilitators and employees, former students and current parents! We also had a middle school class come to teach the Montebello first graders about the heart!

We hope our photos show you a glimpse into this great day.

Wishing everyone a restful winter break! School resumes on Thursday, February 20.
