Who We Are
At Suffern Middle School, the school counselor has a multitude of roles and responsibilities that include working with students, faculty and staff, administration, and parents. The school counselor promotes and encourages social, emotional, personal, and academic growth and development of all SMS students.
What We Do
We are committed to the social and emotional health of our students here at SMS. In an effort to support all students, and to be in compliance with ASCA standards, our school counseling program strives to address the needs of all students’ self-management and social skills.
