New York State requires that, of the 22 credits needed to qualify for graduation, two must be in physical education, and three and one-half more must be additional electives. Suffern Central offers a selection of physical education courses that foster life-long personal health and fitness. The array of additional electives includes technology, engineering, business, and health, among others. One-half credit of health is a requirement for graduation.
