Dr. Ivey began her career in the Suffern Central School District 25 years ago (26 years if you include her time at Suffern High School and Suffern Middle School as a student teacher!). After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas College, Dr. Ivey was hired as an eighth-grade English teacher at Suffern Middle School. After nine years of teaching English and completing her degree in administration from Fordham University, Dr. Ivey became an assistant principal at Suffern Middle School. Five years later, Dr. Ivey moved from Suffern Middle School to Montebello Elementary School, where she has been since 2012.
